How long is it proper to leave bumper stickers from a political campaign on? At some point, keeping the stickers on for the losing candidate is counter productive. It shows an unwillingness to accept the results of the election and it is divisive. I am just not sure at what point, time wise, it becomes a problem. This question is posted in etiquette, not politics. I know I have every RIGHT to leave the stickers on, but I feel that at a certain point it becomes classless. (more...)

I've been hearing throughout the entire campaign about how much good Obama was going to do for race relations. I loved it personally. Then, on election night, I was nearly assaulted by 3 black men who were screaming at me "Obama 08 you [expletive] cracker!" while I was minding my own business putting oil in my car at a gas station. I have no bumper stickers or anything to indicate how I voted. When I told other people about this, I was shocked at the response. I was accused of making up the story for either attention or to discredit the Obama campaign! I was even accused of "white guilt". Will this administration do anything to open eyes to all forms of racism instead of only the PC ones? (more...)
