Who would have thought we'd ever have to resurrect the peace sign? After all we had supposedly learned about intractable quagmires through our invasion and escalation of Viet Nam until Congress defunded the war and our troops pulled out, who would have thought a President would ever order our fellow citizens into armed conflict with no clear objective, for no defined reason, with ever-changing justification? "Who'da thunk?" Once the iconic image of the peace movement of the 60s, it is as needed today as it was then to remind ourselves we need to act to stop the suffering and violence occurring in our name in a remote region of the world.

I think I will get make a bumper sticker after Obama's first six months that reads "don't blame me, I voted for McCain". Or maybe a picture of Obama with the caption "WTF". that we all support Obama and unify behind him, because he's the President-elect, yet for the last 8 years they have been crucifying, lying about, mocking, slandering, disrespecting and refusing to honor our current President George W.? The point is that the libs are demanding we unify behind Obama by agreeing with him and not criticizing him or challenging him.
